2005 Summer Solstice Shoot
June 24th-25th

There aren’t many places on earth where you can participate in Cowboy Action Shooting in the middle of the night—without artificial lighting! Come join the cowgirls and cowboys of the Golden Heart Shootist Society—the farthest-north Single Action Shooting Society club. This year’s schedule has turned this into a three-day shooting event because of our “Last-Sunday-of-the-Month Shoot” the next day. We’re going to be joined by some of our compadres from the Lower 48, specifically some shooters from Nevada.

SUMMER SOLSTICE SHOOT SCHEDULE
Friday and Saturday nights, June 24 and 25, 2005
(same schedule both nights)

Registration will start around 8:00 p.m.
Shooting will begin at 9:00 p.m.
Take a photo break at midnight (don’t forget your cameras!)
Resume shoot and finish by (or before) 2:00 a.m.
After the shoot, we will have a “tail-gate” finger-food snack
(bring something to sit on if you have it)

Each of the three shoots will consist of five main stages.

One Shoot--$10.00
Two Shoots--$15.00
All Three Shoots--$20.00
(Juniors shoot free—12 thru 18 years of age—must be accompanied by an adult)
